how much would you give a co worker who is getting married 2 weeks before your wedding??
fh's co worker has invited us to his wedding. now of course we need to invite him lol no prob with that..
but how much do you give to someone right before your own wedding..especially if they are coming to yours 2 weeks later?
i mean cash is going to be CRAZZZZY TIGHT right before our wedding..and i know whatever we give him..he will give back i guess??? i feel like we are just passing around money... help!! what to do?

Tough one. I guess I would give him $200. This way it's not soo much that you won't get it back for your wedding.

well..i think the place they are getting married at is something like umm 150 plus a plate....... i am guessing!!!

Give what you can afford. I think $200 is fine. It shouldn't matter where they are getting married, IMO.

I had 2 co-workers that got married within a month of me...We all made a pact not to give gifts to one another and call it even!

I agree, I would give $200 if you can swing it, you will probably get it back anyway. I worked out a deal with my cousin since our weddings are so close that we didnt exchange gifts, i gave them a card and they will give us a card.

I feel your pain....
Next summer we were planning on having 2 weddings to attend, my FH's roomate from college in July and another friend's in August. WELL, now my FH's cousin decides she wants to get engaged and be married by next June, so we'll have 3 the summer before our wedding. While it' snot as close as your experience, I'm still already stressing about it.

probably 200, as i was reading your post i was wondering- they might be on their honeymoon still when you wedding happens, so it might not be the same...
