Just curious...I feel like maybe I'm spending a lot on mine, but it's very intricate and detailed...so I'm not sure...
Wanted to get an idea of what others were spending...if anyone is comfortable giving the info...
Thanks

Re: How much would you spend on a Groom's Cake?
I haven't even started pricing them, but since it will be served at the RD to about 30 people, I can't see it being that much. I was thinking of getting the cake made into a poker hand of a royal flush. Am I just being naive? Are they really expensive?

I think I paid between $85 and $100...I can't remember exactly...Here's the cake I had...
is there a purpose behind this? does this make the wedding cake 'The Brides Cake?'

More power to anyone not having one...
I just thought it would be a nice thing to do for my FH...a surprise for him at the RD. So much of the wedding stuff is bride-centric…so why not give the groom a treat of his own?

it's great you like to do that. i found my experience in this planning great. we done everything together.... we said it's all about us and not just her. she made that very clear from the get go.

Nanjoe, that's so cute!!! My FI loves pool, where did you get that done? As much as I don't have the money to spend on that, I still have time to save up for it, and I think he'd love that!! Thanks!

Someone once posted these sites and the cakes are amazing on here... I wish I could get one, the sports themed ones are very cool.
