One of my friends had to be snotnose and make a rude comment that I bought Martha Stewart eyelet placecard holders and didn't get a fancy holder instead.
I was like, for $2 a box I'll save a couple hundred easily bee-otch!!
She spent $450 on placecard holders for her wedding that literally EVERYONE left on the table. Not to mention, what would I do with it after? They were terribly impractical, not anything that could be easily taken home/re-used.
No offense to anyone doing those kinds of placecard holders, I just couldn't justify the cost
Are they horribly cheesy?

no not at all - I bought mine at michaels - they cost me I think maybe 10 bucks in total and they match my invites and programs and no place card holders here

you have to remember to that you have to pay for calligraphy so definately save you money

Ahhh...so right, I forgot about that!
My SIL has superb script, not calligraphy, but really flowy, graceful script...would that be OK?

im spending kinda much, it was my first wedding purchase and kinda went crazyyyyy lol and got that storybook thing, but its ture like whtat the hell am i gonna do with that afterwards
check with your rh they may provide them for you, those ones are nice and keep in mind you also have to factor in calligraphy

My hall provides them, and I'm going to just use those. If they didn't, I'd definitely go for the lowest-priced option that I thought was nice. I think your's are really cute - can't go wrong with Martha!

I bought placecard holders... they were under $100. (Like $90 something) But I only needed 75 or so. It really is a waste of money but I thought they were cute... Whatever is left behind I will try selling on eBay or someplace else. I am going to just buy my own cards and print them up myself to save on the Caligraphy.
I think yours are adorable though!!!
