I would say $10 too. I usually tip $1 for everyday $3 spent.

$10 is a 33% tip! As far as I am concerned that is a lot! I tip $6- which is 20%.. and even then 15% is the norm....

I'm considered a very generous tipper and I think a $10.00 tip on a $30.00 job is way too much. When I get my fill ins, I tip 6-7 dollars.

I tip $10 for a $30 job but when I get fillin, it is only $16 and I tip $5.

I must be a cheap tipper because I give $5...I can't see giving a *tip* over 20%. I'm paying for the service as it is, and these people DO get paid by their employers...JMO.

It depends on who does it. My regular manicurist gets more than another person because I have actually become friendly with my manicurist. My mom and I both use her and we actually exchange Xmas and B-day gifts (small things)

$30 service would get 6-7 for the regular and 4-5 for someone else.

my fill ins used to cost 18...and I would tip $5.

Ok, I just realized what fill ins was for. I feel so dumb but that just goes to show I dont get my nails done (and it shows -I have crappy nails - and cant deal with the maintenance).

Before I realized it was for nails - I really thought you guys were tipping the dentist when he filled in cavities.
