How my FH saves money.

Okay so I had to share. As you all know FHand I are trying to save money.

So to contribute to this. . . he goes to this knife shop in Massapequa yesterday and bought:

A spike medieval club

A blow dart gun

A knife

A stick thing with a whip that they the police use in some foreign country

So, I hate to be the nagging FW so I kind of just mentioned that I hoped they didn’t cost a lot and laughed along but he totally didn’t get why I wasn’t excited about all the new purchases


Then I had to stand in the rain and watch as he played with the blow dart gun AND to make me love this stuff even more - I dozed off and was woken up by him standing over me with the spiked club 'accidentally' missing me by inches

haha i love it! typical of men....but the second you buy a pair of shoes or something you get the whole lecture....

I feel you... my FH is addicted to those fantasy football leagues. They cost anywhere from 50 -200 to join.... he is in 3 of them!!!

omg!!!!!!

what is with hiM? lol how are knives fun?

that totally makes me think of the south park episode with the Ninja weapons - they were animated to be Japanamation characters & hit poor little Butters in the eye with a Ninja Star. They dressed him up as a dog to try and get him to a vet instead of a doctor...

haha that sounds like my FH!!!!!

He said when he gets out of the Marines he is using the extra wedding $ that we have left over from our savings (not our actual present money) (all I have to say about that) and is going to buy some stuff since he has saved up so much money and he gets out of the Marine Corps he deserves it!! But he wants to buy guns!! GUNS!! He works with guns all day complains how they break down etc (and also wants to be a cop) and he needs freaking guns with the extra $. Not a car (which he will need) or something more suitable. NOP GUNS

And then I said once well can I treat myself to something since I stuck around the whole time you were in the Marines and not having you with me ever and he said sure i dont care what you do with your money lol he thinks he saved up all this wedding money by himself haha and he thinks i am going to waste the money on stupid things. I said yes things for our apt and future house...but his guns are NOT a waste I am guessing

he wants to be able to 'protect our home'

THANK GOODNESS we are living with my parents for a few years and they wont allow guns in their home!

haha yeah we are living with Fh's parents in the apt upstairs for about a year or two hopefully haha. And his dad has a gun so it is no biggie to them I just said once we get out own house and have children I do not want to know where your guns are and you better better lock up the gun and bullets seperately and never have them out!!!
