Do you shop for new clothes-just curious i like posting on this board

when there is a sale or i see a nice outfit that is inexpensive and i have the extra funds to get it.

plus every new event like a wedding requires a new outfit so everytime have a formal affair its a new dress, shoes and bag.

Once or twice a year I do a big shopping for the current season and then pickmup things here or there.

When theres a sale or I get gift certificates/money for holidays, or come into money some other way. I usually just buy a piece here and there.

no set schedule, whenever I am in the mall and find something I like, especially if its on sale - Or when I need something new - like if I am going out and want to wear something different.

Way too much. I'm constantly cleaning out my closet which in my sick mind gives me permission to buy new clothes.
When I try to restrict myself I usually do okay and then wind up walking into a store and buying out the place. So I've been trying to only get one thing here and there. so I don't feel like I'm depriving myself.

Because of saving for this wedding, I have not bought a new article of clothing in months. My pants have holes in them, the hems are falling out, my winter coat is missing two buttons and some of my shirts are fraying at the neck. How pitiful is that?

I've been doing good since the new year started trying to save money. Before then, I was bad. It had to be atleast once a week! Either shoes, a bag, or something.... hey, what can I say, I work in Manhattan!

Just about every time I'm near clothes! It's a very bad habit.... before we were married and saving for the wedding I NEVER shopped. Now I'm out of control
