Does your FH/DH do nice things for you which are completely unexpected? I mean flowers, just because... a nice card for the hell of it... things like that?

he's never once planned a date for us or anything.
sometimes he'll get me a little present. like my fav candy or he'll get me a card or draw me a cute little thing. but nothing major. and that's okay with me. FOR NOW.

Oh OH OH.......he went on a business trip a few months ago and brought me home Wild Cherry flavored M&M's because he thought I'd like them........they were pretty good, lol.

as far as gift-giving, it's probably about monthly ... it used to be more often when we first started dating .... but he does many nice things (non gifts) for me on a daily basis.
i probably get him random just-because gifts once every few months

Shauna's FH rocks compared to all of ours.

My FH has never got me flowers .. EVER. He thinks that flowers are the most thoughless gift you could get.
BUT - hes the most thoughtful person with everything else. They way he talks to me and texts me and the little things he does every day are soooo amazing. Theres not a flower in the world Id trade for the things he gives me thats not tangible ...

all the time. he can call me out no where and tell me he will pick me up from the train. and he drives me to the train every morning. he hates doing that so its totally out of being considerate. last fri he told me to go pick up his lanses and he knew I really didnt want to so he surprised me by driving to the city and meeting me by the optician's store to pick me up. all of a sudden he can buy me a small gift. or get something that I like to eat. or even buy me cig's haha so I will have extra. he txts me all the time to tell me how much he loves me and how happy he is to be marrying me. him doing these nice little things is why I love him so much

He doesn't do out of the ordinary stuff...but the little things he does is good enough for me. Like cooking when I get home late, cleaning up the apartment. He use to get me special snacks until I told him he was making me fat. he also use to get me flowers until we realized our cat was eating them and could potentially be poisoned.

umm....
OH, he bought me about 10 boxes of capri sun (yes I'm 5!) to keep at his house so I'd have something to drink.
The only time he ever bought me jewerly just because was about 6 months after we started dating he bought me a nice guess watch.
