Since we got engaged on the 4th of July, I've religiously cleaned my ring once a week with the jewelry cleaner my FH got from the Jeweler.
In the Spring Issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, they recommend bringing your ring for cleaning and checking the prongs every 6 months too.
Am I the only obsessive compulsive one over this?

I'm a little obsessive about this...I clean it constantly...probably once a week or more. I'm also in the jewelry store all the time so whenever I go there, I have them steam clean it for me. I usually use toothpaste to clean it with a toothbrush, it works really good!!

I have only gotten my ring cleaned by the jeweler twice.. and that has only been because I went there to look at wedding bands and he took it from me! I am so bad when it comes to things like that!
