How often do you get a manicure?

I have really hard, dry cuticles so that part of the manicure only looks good until I wash my hands the first time. Anyway, my point is, I hardly ever bother.

My last manicure was for Julz33's wedding and before that, my own wedding (wait, I got one on the HM too)

every week. I pay half price since the shop is next door to the hardware store.

My mother and I go usually once a month, at least we try I have my own nails so the weeks that the nail polish chips I paint them myself. Speaking of....I could use one. Last one was for Thanksgiving!

I used to go once a week and my nails looked great. Now i dont even go once a month and they look terrible! It really makes a difference on how often you go, at least with my nails it does

I go for a mani (fill-in) & spa pedi once a week. I'm hooked on those darn spa pedicures.


BTW, do any of you girls have a permanent french? (The one that's similar to teeth bonding.)

I have silk wraps so I go every other week and I get a pedicure once a month in the cold months and every two weeks in the warmer, sandal wearing months

every week...Pedicures only on special occasions in the colder months but every 2 weeks in the summer

Every week, I wish! I only get them when I'm in NY. Only $8 there compared to $20 up here.

I try to go every two weeks. I have to admit, I am really bad with taking care of my nails.

In the summer sometimes I go every week. Now I go about every other week. My cuticals need to be cut everytime. The girl I go to gives the nicest hand massage.

only if I have somewhere to be --- AND of course, when we went ring-hunting!!! Few places in Smithtown are only $6, so its not breaking the bank, but sometimes its hard to find the time. My nails are kept short and they are very soft (flexible), so the polish always chips in 3 days anyway.

Self-manicure: some lotion and a coat of clear weekly.

I use to go weekly, but w/ saving the wedding and the house, I had stopped. Now it feels like a treat, but now since we closed on the house, i want to get back into a routine and go every 2 weeks, otherwise they get too brittle (for me anyway). That goes for the waxings too!
