How often do you hear from your Banquet Manager?

I'm a little concerned that i'm not getting enough TLC from my banquet manager, but then i'm thinking I may be expecting too much.

How often do you hear from them, if at all? Should I be checking in with her to tell her who I've booked and such? I know I'm 8 months away...so I don't expect much, but a little 'happy holidays/how are you?' would be nice.

Haven't heard from her since the summer. Let me know!

I don't think it's common practice for them to reach out to you unless they need to. They deal w/dozens of brides at any given time, so I don't think they'd have the time to just 'check in'. I've emailed and called my BM a few times and have gotten the answers I needed in a timely fashion. I'm happy with that!

I've only heard from mine twice and it was about scheduling our food tasting and when they had an expo for their recommended vendors. You still have a while to go and I'm sure that they're main focus right now is probably the brides coming up this month. I would say that they will probably reach out to you to see how things are coming along when it gets closer - I'm sure everything will be fine! NHP Inn is great!

i don't hear from mine often, unless i reach out ... then she is always prompt in responding to me. she has reached out a couple of times to invite me to the bridal showcase/tasting and to ask me if i was all set with vendors or if i needed help. i don't think you should be concerned, only if you need something and you're not receiving any response.

I wouldn't be concerned. They're not your friend, they're your BM. They'll be in touch when they need you. As long as they respond promptly when you ask them something, then I think you don't have anything to worry about!

Never! I just email them questions and he responds. I think if you want someone more attentive I would hire a DOC because they will be in contact with you often since you're paying them specifically to help you

I got a mass 'Happy Holidays' but they don't reach out just because. If i email them, they usually get back pretty quickly!

I also had my wedding at the Inn and I never heard from my BM, except to schedule my drop off the week before the wedding. She was responsive when I needed her, but I didn't hear from her otherwise. However, she was waiting for me outside when I arrived the day of with a big smile.

Believe me when I tell you that you have NOTHING to worry about. They have everything under control and are seriously awesome. I'm writing a review, but if you ever have any specific questions feel free to FM me!

Our BM that we signed on with left to go to another venue and I don't hear from my new one until we contact her. The old one got in touch with us very month to check in until she left I'm not too concerned about not hearing from current one because there's still time. I will be in contact with them soon about a tasting though.

I only hear from mine if I contact them on my own. They told me about a month before the wedding they will send us a paper and on there we list all of the vendors.

I think it's the person you sign the contract with.

i dont know who my BM is either.. i know its either one person or another specifically. but i dont hear from anyone either unless i contact them first

Mine has emailed me to check in a few times and to let me know about parties and showcases. She also contacts me about timeline stuff and my vendors. I rarely contact her and when I do, she responds quickly. I expect much more contact in these next few months

Well we met with 3 different people. The last person we just came in to sign the contract with. I looved the original guy I met with. Can I switch my BM politely if I don't have the original guy?
