It is updated every weekday actually - you can sign up for the free service where they email you every morning with new or updated listings that comply with your search criteria. This way you don't have to re-do a full search every day. I was obsessed as well for quite awhile...and now I just read my email and click the links to see what's new. You can set up more than one search criteria, too and they email you everything in one email.

it gets updated every time the realtor updates it. So it can be updated on the weekends or at midnight.

I have got to stop looking at that site! I am OBSESSED! So if I can tell myself that I won't see anything different until next Friday, or Monday, or whenever it gets updated, maybe I can stop checking it!!
