I had just turned 18 (about a month before we had started seeing each other...(Cute story, before we started dating we had gone out with a bunch of friends to a movie screening the night before my birthday [it was the first time we ever hung out together ever] and a friend of ours was driving each of us home that night. We were talking while our friend was pumping gas and realized we had ALOT on common, both played soccer, into the same kinds of music, video games yadda yadda...Well our friend took me home first and it was around 11:55 at night. Shawn made all of us sit in the car and wait until it was 12:01 so he could be the first to wish me a happy 18th birthday...it was really sweet of him to do something like that, esp when it was the first time we were hanging out...)

Aww that is really thoughtful and sweet!

We started dating the summer before our 21st birthdays...
