Do you think a 9 year old is too old to be a ring bearer?
TIA

Definitely not. I'm having my nephew who will be about to turn 8. It's whoever is special to you.

No, I don't think so. My ring bearers will be 4 and 7, but my brother was a ring bearer at 8 or 9 (can't remember) and he was so excited. Although my mom freaked because the bride let him carry the real rings LOL!
I think it's perfectly fine!

I think that is a fine age to have it! My boys are going to be Jr. GMs but that is only because there are 3 of them... If I only had one brother I would have made him a ring bearer and they are ages 8-11.

its not tooo old at all
i personally gave my little bro (who was 11 at the time of my wedding) a choice to be ring bearer or jr GM and he chose jr GM and he handed out programs and seated people and did a great job

I kinda wish FH's nephew was a little older to do it... he's 3 1/2. Hopefully he won't take the rings and run lol.
I don't think 9 is too old!

My friend had her grandmother be the flower girl. Is that too old??
BTW...it was awesome.

I don't think so. It's almost better because you know he will understand where he has to go and he will get the ring there. It is always iffy whether the real young ones will actually walk or not.

It was cool! I promise. I wish my g-mother would be down for that.
Anyway, no its not too old. Our priest suggested between 6-10. We aren't having one though.

I think 9 is a perfect age for a ring bearer! I think it is better than someone younger who can't walk or who has no idea what is going on.

I don't think that's too old at all. Plus, it's your wedding, it's up to you!
