i know it is reallly hard!! i just kept listening to them and picked the one that related most to me n the FH! n then had him listen to the ones i liked and we picked! it is hard cause theres alot im constantly downloading songs that i hear lol

sorry to crash. this was so difficult for us, i almost drove myself crazy and ended up crying one day because it was so hard to pick lol
it will take a while but for us, i kinda just knew it when we heard it and i didnt think this would ever happen after listening to literally thousands of songs

Nothing is too old if it is what you are your FH like!!!! Sometimes the older songs are better for something like a first dance.

We are soo lost too... i mean i can not make up my mind with almost anything... We are defiantly using an older song though... I feel like they have more of a 'first dance' feel than some of the newer songs that are out there...

ohhhhh I'M CONVINCED we will not have one. Everything FH suggests is from some obscure artist we will never hear again. I want the opportunity to hear my wedding song again somewhere.

I wasn't sure how we were going to pick a song either. But when we met with our photographers they showed us a DVD slide show of some weddings they did. On one DVD the background song was awesome and we asked who it was. On the drive back from San Diego FH asked me about what I thought our song should be. We both talked about how much we liked the song on the DVD. When we got home we looked it up and thought the words were perfect. So that was that. Our song is 'If your heart was a house' by Owl City.

that's the way I am thinking too... I want to be able to hear it at another wedding, say, and be able to dance to it again. we had a song that meant somethign to us, but we will definitely never hear the slow version played anywhere EVER! lol

I've been very upset about this......we have this one song that has such meaning to the both of us, however I think its just going to be too slow for our first dance.....

12'er crashing.. OMG this was so hard for FH & I.. every song I liked he hated and viceversa!
Finally I went to the Bridal Extravaganza and the band played this beautiful half italian and half english song that I fell in love with.. When I got home I played it for FH and we then knew that was our song!
