How painful is a bikini wax?

I don't think a normal bikini wax hurts that bad. Maybe I am immune. The first time is always the worst for any waxing though. Everytime I go I get all nervous before the first rip and then after that I am like - ok that isn't so bad. I have heard the week before your period is the worst. I think it is totally worth the few seconds of pain though!! It lasts for like 2 weeks for me and then it gets a little stubbly and then you can go back. hehe - they do tweeze the small hairs the wax misses - sometimes that hurts me more than the waxing to me.

I did have one that was painful one (and in a $$ salon) - I was actually bruised when they were done - but I won't scare you too much with my horror story. I was so mad at the place and I went back and showed them what they did and they didn't care! The manager even said it was bad and they didn't even refund me! I was so PO'ed.
