How pathetic am I? I couldn't wait to get home and use all my new cleaning products!!!!!!

I feel like such a loser. DH is planning on going out tonight and I can't wait for him to leave so I can clean. It is sick to say I am so excited about it.

Is anybody else like this?

Well, I bought the Orange Glo Hardwood Floor Cleaner and the Mr. Clean thing for the bathroom.

I love the Mr. Clean thing. It works great. I am going to buy another one for the upstairs bathroom too. I hate running up and down the stairs.

I am using the Hardwood Floor Cleaner tonight after DH leaves. I don't want him wlaking all over the floor

I will have to try! A few months now we have had cleaning people so I havent' had the joy of doing my own house. I still get exited about new products. The cleaning people are reluctant to using any new product except for what they like to use.

Now I have to run out to the store to try them! Thanks!

I could never hire cleaning people. I would be so nervous about them seeing the place dirty that I would end up cleaning before they came over

I do just that! (my DH doesnt know that I do it though!) I have to make sure things are all picked up and put away neatly!

i get SOOO excited about new cleaning prodcuts!!! Tonight im trying out the new Woolite oxygen rug cleaner

Well, I did get excited about trying that bleach pen when it first came out. Oh, and those great Mr. Clean wall erasers. Both are great!

OMG!!! I'm JUST LIKE THAT!!! My FH thinks I have 'issues' when it comes to cleaning...he thinks I like it too much!!! I tell him it's the end result I love, but he doesn't believe that!

Please let us know how the wood floor cleaner works. I have a huge family room and I'm tired of streaking it with the damp mop.

Cleaning tricks I use:
Oven Cleaner: spray on stainless steel sinks and the food catcher (not new sinks, of course). You will seek all the grease raise from the little crevices. Wait about 10 minutes, rinse and then scrub with cleanser.
SHINY SINK!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser: GREAT all over the refrigerator. Gets out the grime from the handle. Worked wonders on my great aunt's white refrigerator handle. Took some rubbing, but where other cleaners failed, grime was magically erased. Also. use around the stovetop and vent.

Tilex: On 100% white cottons. Gets stains out better than bleach. For me, bleach leaves behind a yellowish stain. Tilex, rub (color will darken slightly first) and then ..voila...wash the spot with detergent before tossing into the machine. Gets out blood, wine, etc..
Good for scrubbing light colored grout.

All tricks come in handy whenever you move into a new home.

ME!!!! I LOVE cleaning! It truly is my hobby other than decorating. I love a clean house, espeically on a spring day!!!

I'm taking a little break right now. but FH and I are having our 'spring clean-down'. Its roughly 6 hours of intense cleaning of every room in the apartment. We're almost finished!! We're really tired, but just love the feeling of being in a totally clean apartment. We try to do it in beginning of the winter too, but we should do it more often.
