She's killin' me here. My veil has arrived at her house. (I haven't seen it yet- eeeeek!) FH and I are going to be staying over my mom's in a few weeks. She told me she does NOT want that veil in my room where we're staying. That I have to move it and put it somewhere else. She doesn't think FH should be anywhere near it- even if he doesn't look at it - even if it's in the closet and he can't see it. Basically she doesn't want him sleeping in the same room as the veil.
Is she just out of her mind?!?!

sounds like the same x-chromosome-linked superstition gene that FMIL has....
(she had a fit when she heard my FG sash is black..... apparently, according to polish superstition, NO female family member can wear black... it jinks the marriage )
