how rude!!!

Ok girls what do u do when someone has the nerve to ask if they are invited to the wedding?? talk about being put on the spot!!

So I am out at a bar last night and this guy who I was friendly with (NOT call each other type of friends) asks me ' so am I invited?' I havent seen him in months and would not consider inviting him but when he asked I was sooooooo uncomfortable that I said If u want to come Ill send u an invitation.......so my question is what should I have said?? this is not the first person to ask either why are people so rude?

ugh...so rude. i would have said...i dont know we havent even thought about the guest list...i guess we'll see....

OMG yess....I work in a bank and i have customers jokingly asking if there getting invite,Im like um NO. I even had coworkers mad b/c i didnt invite any of them to the engagement party. Its like gimme a break

I hate that!

One of my brothers friends mother (lolz yes you read that right) asked me the other day and I couldn't even believe it! I was like 'It's only for close friends and family because we're on a budget'..I see this woman maybe once every 2yrs in passing at a grocery store or something, could she even be serious!?!?

That is SOOOO RUDE! I would have said... well we are working on the guest list now and we only have a limited amount of space for friends after family....or somethig like that.

HOLY COW!!! I hate that question, I just dont understand how people ask it. I just always say we have to see how many family members it turns out to be before we start the friend invite list

I always say 'I wish we could invite everyone who would like to come, but we honestly can't imagine how we possibly could!!! It's flattering you'd like to come, but you know how it is . . . . !!!'

On a funny note.. I had my HS students ask me not only fi they could come to my wedding but if they can be in my bridal party... LOL! I told them 'I am sorry but it is out of town' LOL! They are too much!

You should really tell them that your wedding is going to be small... and most family and some close friends.... but you are accepting bribes... if they are really interested....
