FH asked his friend to be his best man, almost a year ago when we got engaged. The guy lives in VA so we don't see them often, but they keep in touch by phone and e-mail. As you all know, we need to know details, like for the tuxes, music list (BP introductions, toasts etc). FH has not heard from this guy in months. Keeps calling, e-mailing..so last night he left him a message saying if he doesn't hear back by Wed, he is out of the BP, but he hopes everything is OK. I don't get people! They never had a fight or anything. If you don't want to be a part of it tell us! No hard feelings. I felt so bad for FH.

Sorry to hear that. Some people are just so mean. If he doesnt make an effort, then he isnt as good of a friend as FI thought anyway. It is an honor to be in the bridal party.

I hate when people do that- if you don't want to be in a wedding then say so. It hurts more when you don't do things. I just think people can't say no when they are asked. I had to put my cousins in it and I would have rather them said no then the grief they are putting me through!!

I don't know how people were raised without any manners..... don't they realize a lot of $ not to mention feelings are involved!
