FH & I invited his brothers best friend to the wedding with a guest. Well, yesterday this 'friend' called FH to ask him if he should add his brither onto his RSVP card or if his brothers invitation was in the mail!
I'm so annoyed, I would never call the groom to ask if I can bring members of my family to a wedding!
Just for clarification, I don't think his brother is going to be his guest, I think he's bringing his girlfriend, brother & brothers girlfriend!

Nope - not close at all, I wasn't even planning on inviting the brother (FBIL bestfriend), but FH insisted because he said if we didn't it was going to cause problems with his brother because his brother considers this guy family!

FH should just politely tell him, NO, we were only inviting you and a guest. If you would like to bring him as YOUR guest, that's perfectly fine with us.

This is the thing that pissed me off the most when i was getting my responses!! And the 'family' comment - OMG -such a greek thing! That guy has SOME nerve - he seriously is inviting someone else just by his question. Dude the invite was addressed to you and only you - End of discussion.

There's not much I can do, FH was caught off guard & he blurted out to just put the brother on his RSVP card! I don't understand why they would even want to come to my wedding! We don't have any type of relationship with any of them. I'm sooo annoyed, more at the fact that he had the audacity to call FH & actually ask him this!
