'How Rude' (vent abt self invites to dress shopping)
So I had made an appointment in a dress store today to try on this one specific dress that I've eyed in a catalog for numerous months all ready. Today is my 1st day of 'dress shopping' so I haven't had on any other gowns or anything yet.
Well I asked my sister (MOH), my little sister (17yrs old), and my mother to accompany me, my MOH couldn't get out of work but my cousin(a BM) happened to be in town so I asked her to come instead. My mother was talking to my god mother (cousin's mother) about dress shopping and she sorta invited herself to tag along as well. I was a little frustrated b/c I wasn't told she was coming until a few hrs before hand and I really didn't want everyone in the world to come with me. I got over that shortly but when my cousin and god mother arrived there was this stranger with them. They brought along my other cousins girl friend that I have never even met nor heard of before. Not only did I have another 'extra' person to tag along, but my little sister couldn't come b/c there was no room in the car. I felt so horrible!!!! I thought it was very rude of them not to ask nor mention that they were bringing this girl. While we were there, I had the option to try on other gowns, but I was just like, no thanks!! I just wanted to go home b/c I could see the hurt in my sisters eyes when my mom asked her to stay home.
To make it up to my little sis, as soon as I got home, I called another bridal boutique and made an appointment for tomorrow for only my MOH, little sister and mother to come to with me! I will be trying on the same gown again as well as one other that the store today did not have in stock.
