how should i ask my FG's?

how should i ask my FG's?

1 is my goddaughter, the other is FI's goddaughter. My GD is 2, FI's GD is 5.. My GD has no idea what a FG is.. FI's understands and is asking if she can be a FG... I guess I should ask them by now, but how? Cards? Little dolls? Flower girl Tshirts?!?! pleeeaaasse help me out here.. I am clueless!

i asked their parents because they are both too young to understand.. they will be older by the time of the wedding and I will thank them with something special

I'm planning on asking their parents first. I want something special for them- something little- so that they 'understand' THEY are a special part of the day.. I hope I am i explaining it properly.. Then @ the rehearsal dinner they'll get their bigger gift. My goddaughter already knows about the wedding- it's a big party- but I'm trying to think of a way to let her know she'll be a part of that.

I gave my FG a beautiful poem in a frame on nice pink and purple paper with butterflies all over it! And i also gave her a butterfly pillow and butterfly jewelry box! She loved it!!!
