I am going with a half up/half down style. My hair is a little thin to begin with but not horribly thin. I am worried about my hair holding. I already chopped off the split ends (my hair is long). Any other suggestions? TIA!!

Re: How should I prepare my hair?
Don't wash it the day of. 'Dirty' hair is much fuller and easier to work with!
Use a volumizing shampoo.
Don't use conditioner the day before-it weighs the hair down and makes it slippery.

Re: How should I prepare my hair?
I think styles hold better when hair isn't washed. My sister did my hair and I had washed it the day before - not day of. It held alot better than when she first did a trial on my clean hair. She also said it was easier to work with.
