How soon after the wedding are leaving for your honeymoon?

While we where out with FH parents we where talking about the honeymoon. MY fh thinks it will be to much to leave for the honeymoon the next day. He thinks that we will be to exhausted. He thinks we should wait a week or a month to go on the honeymoon.

Our wedding is Friday night and we are leaving Sunday morning

About 7 months! FH will be in the middle of the semester when we get married, so we decided to wait until June of 2006.

I figure it will give us time to sort out thank you cards, get our pics and video, etc.

Our wedding is Friday, and we're leaving the folowing friday.

our wedding is on a sunday night and we are leaving on tuesday morning.

I wanted to leave the next morning- i love the idea of being whisked away from the wedding but all of my friends who have done that wished they waited a day to leave.....
