how soon after you dye your hair can you do it again?

i always get my hair highlighted at the salon, but money is tight so i did a bottle job and my hair came out so dark, it looks horrible. i want to lighten it up, but how soon can i redo it before it ruins my hair. thanks girls

you can wait a few days and do it but dont make amajor habit of it ya kno dont want the hair to start falling out..also dont wash ur hair the day u r doing it, so it will soak up the new color more:) goodluck!!!

I've colored my hair 3 or 4 times in a weekend in the past when I needed to 'correct'.

I dye my roots once a month. sometimes i let it go for a little longer but it looks werid with dark blond roots and black dyed hair.

I would wait until you wash it a few times - whenever I dye my hair it always comes out way to dark to begin with than after one or two washes it tends to lighten up.

Good to know! I just bought a NEW color for myself. And I even said to my son I'll be back tomorrow to by a black color (my naturaul hair color) if I hate it.

i use to do that, and I did it every 6 months when I dyed my hair.
