I booked Andrea from Lola Loves Makeup in Sep I think and a family friend is doing my hair. Trial pic in album and also did my makeup for e-pics.

I booked about a year before the wedding. The only reason I did this was because I didn't want to miss out on using her.

I tried booking someone 11 months before and she was already booked. I then had a trial and booked with someone else 9 months before.

If you are getting married in a really popular month - you might want to do it super early. Two of the people I wanted to try were already booked by the time I contacted them - which was 13 months before my wedding!
I booked makeup last week, and have a hair trial over xmas with the intent to book that too.

I booked my make-up last month. My hair my trial was really bad and its the girl who normal does my hair so its booked but I am going to try another place because she can cut my hair and do myhighlights but she was not good at updos! I am going to tell her my sister is doing my hair the day of my wedding once I go to the other place for my trial!

I'm pretty lax on who does my make-up, I already booked my hair since it's my normal salon that does it, but I have not had a trial yet for either. I'm trying to wait until my dress comes in to do a trial of both and then go for a fitting afterwards.
