How soon is to soon to have

a shower for someone??

I cant write to much information here because my MOH who is getting married 2 months after me is addicted to this site as well and I dont want her to get any ideas....lol

Hi Maryann!

I have a wedding March 24 and the shower is November 5....so I think anything goes as long as they are registered.

I would say the norm is 2-3 months, but I wouldn't do any more than 6 months before the wedding.

My shower was in March and my wedding was in June. I was surprised to have it so early!! I was expecting it more around April/May, so having it early makes for a good surprise.

I know of another 06er who got married in April but her Shower was in September. It's usually about 2-3 months before, but if you really want to throw her off it's ok to have it earlier.
