So im getting married on july 10 2010 (although i wanted 2009 but for financial reasons we decided on 2010)
I booked my e party for this aug. 2nd which will be less than 2 yrs away from my wedding..
pople have told me that normally e parties are done 1 yr before..not 2? does it really matter?

I dont think this summer is too soon! Alot of the girls on here that are getting married in 2010 have either had their party already or are having it in the next few months.

we're getting married 5/15/10 and our e-party is 9/6/08. who cares, some people dont even have them anymore.

im gettin married in 2/10 and my eparty is in 2 weeks. i like it better that its further in advance so i wont feel like my guests are stressed or annoyed with the amount of events that would be coming up. (eparty, shower, wedding, etc)

Sorry for crashing but its not too soon. I had my e-party April '07 and my wedding is not until November '08.. So that was what, 19 months before. Noone said anything about it being too soon. And i got to use the money we got as gifts towards the payments for the hall.
