I was wondering how soon I need to book a limo company and a florist. My date is October 2006. Please help :)

We are a month before you and booked the florist and are currently looking into the limos.

I'm Oct 06, too :) and starting to look at florists and limos now....
is it true you need your BM dresses before you get your florist? I have an idea of my colors....

I booked limos 9 months before and will be doing flowers 7 months before.

we booked our limos about 8 months before our wedding... as for flowers I knew I wanted Flower Michele only, so we booked them over 1 year in advance...

I would say to start looking at limos now only because October is a busy month for the wedding industry. You also want to have options!

As for the Florist....we JUST signed our contract this week leaving a little more than 4 months to date! Please don't do that to yourself as we were driving ourselves nuts!

I'm also October '06. I booked limos about two weeks ago, and I've met with 10 different florists. I finally have it narrowed down to two. I am going to meet with them both again to hammer out details of what the price quotes I got actual contain (as in how many individual flowers in my bo-k and BM bo-k) and then I'll make a choice between the two.

You should start looking at Florist now... and Limos can wait til early next year or right after the holidays,

You have plenty of time. I would look at florists first. Limo's can wait if you want. We weren't going to do limo's as my FIL to be has a friend who had one, but changed our minds last week and were able to book them with a month to go with no problem. Several companies could have accomodated us.

I was told by someone to book all of my major vendors by the end of this year because early next year there will be an influx of all the newly engaged couples who will be wanting to book THEIR vendors as well. October is a pretty popular month, too. I would really start looking now. Good luck!

I am oct 06 as well and already have both of those things booked..and whats scary about that is when I went in september to book, they were already filling up! I would start asap!
