How soon should you book the DJ, Limo, Photographer and the florist. Our wedding will be in 2014, I know we have time but before we know it, 2014 will be in the showing.

You have plenty of time so shop around...i can't stress that enough but if you feel its the right vendor there is no such thing as booking to early...Happy planning
My only concern about booking so early is if you change your mind, you'll lose your deposit.

Couldn't agree more. I would spend the majority of this year searching the internet for ideas of what you want getting reviews on potential vendors and definitely shopping around for the BEST price you can get.

I woudl say shop the internet for a bit, get your vision of what you want and where you are comfortable, make lists of potentials and then towards the latter part of 2012 start making appts. this way you will lock in 2012 prices for 2014. But also keep in mind that you will lose deposits if you cancel or change your mind. I had second thoughts on my RH and ended up lossing a bit of money when i made a switch.

i booked most things about 22 months out - except limos - i waited until about 1 year to go for limos

i would take some time this year to look around at what you want. I would prob book my RH this year because you would still get 2012 prices and it will give you a lot of time to start putting money away to pay for it. It makes it a lot easier to start putting money away to save for it when you still have two years to save.
I would book my Limo last since you have the most time to shop around for that, IMO. If by the middle/end of this year, you know who you want for DJ/Band and for your Phtoographer & videographer, book them, those always go fast

I was, engaged for almost 2.5 yrs before the wedding the only things I booked within the first year was church rh and photographer. Everything else I waited for almost the, one year, mark. Hth

I'd say start booking a year and a half out. I'd start researching vendors now so you can get an idea of a few vendors you'd like to meet with when getting near booking. You have time to hit some bridal showcases and really do some research on your vendors. Keep in mind the economy is not so great, and you dont want to give deposits to vendors who god forbid go out of business in 2 years. Good Luck!

This.... You have plenty of time to research and meet with vendors. But once you find someone you love - book it! Some vendors book up fast.

Research different vendors now. The only one I'd think if you really wanted to book this early once your venue is set would be photographer, especially if that person is popular!
Another POSSIBLY is if you got a band and not a DJ.

I booked in July of last year and they already had a lot of days booked in 2013.. Once you do your research and find the CH you like i would book it ASAP.
