How strong is the belly against trama?

How strong is the belly against trama?

I am 8 weeks and my dog just stepped (not too hard) on the side of my belly. I don't have any cramps or anything but it got me wondering... how strong is the belly? How far 'in there' is the baby??

The baby is surronded by amniotic fluid. It should be safe

I fell on Wednesday and the OB-GYN said that it would take something very traumatic at this point to hurt the baby!!!

I told the custodians No more tramatic events for me-- stop with the freaking sawdust on the g-d damn floor!

Thanks ladies - I just read my pregnancy bible (wtewye) and it said the same thing... it is SO safe in there it would take something really bad to cause the baby trama. It's just SO hard these first few weeks - every little thing scares me. I just want to be so careful...
