how stupid are people??

So, my MOH had her credit card information stolen. I guess someone at a store she made a purchase at stole her info. Anyhow, they got the person who did it. Want to know how? The person ordered $3000 worth of items online - AND HAD THEM SHIPPED TO THEIR HOME! It gets better --- they used her card to pay their OWN PHONE BILL.

Wow.

In all seriousness though -- does SHE have their address and info, or does her CC company have it? And, if she has it, what is her plan? And, if not, how much is she going to pay her CC company to give her that info.

Maybe she can offer the CC company the plethora of stolen items as gifts, in exchange for said information?

No, they have the information. They wouldnt disclose the info, only that they did HAVE the info, persons address, name, etc. They will press charges, etc, not her directly. They just take all of the charges off of her acct.

People are seriously stupid. Do you guys ever listen to the Z100 stupid news in the morning?

This one was the best... A guy breaks into a home in Texas. Once inside the home, he stops to have a drink- leaving DNA on the soda can that he left behind on the counter. Then decides to make some long distant calls to his FAMILY! The homeowners knew the robber made calls because he left money on the table next to the phone-thanking them for letting him use the phone. LOL

So the police just had to track the calls he made and run the DNA on the soda can. Can we say smart?
