oh my, i'm sorry she spoiled it for you. but in a way it's a little funny that she could be soooo clueless as i'm sure it says surprise on the invite. just try to laugh about it and be glad you're smarter than that.

You should have told him 'it's not up to me who comes, I didn't do the inviting - - I'm not even suppose to know about it, but thanks for the input'. Tell him he has to ask whomever is hosting the shower and maybe stupidboy will get the message.
