I'm just so relieved that the baby was found unharmed.
When I read the story I said 'who the hell is this idiotic woman?' And she was with a friend too!!! Not like she as alone (not that it makes it right) but why couldn't the friend go in and the mother stay in the car? I mean what a dope!!
Another thing - I think Amber Alerts are a wonderful idea - but I got my alert yesterday at 2pm on my cell phone. FH got his alert last night. I think by that time the boy had been found! Duh! My friend has AOL and got the alert today!
It's not going to be much of an alert if it isn't relayed to the general public 24 hours after the child is found. They need to get those out asap. Maybe the radios and TV shows get them out sooner.
