How to ask ppl to be in the bridal party

the FH and I are going home in about a week and a half to LI for a few days and then western NY to visit and tell his family. I want to ask his 3 sisters to be bridesmaids but I dont know how I should do it. I know a lot of you have posted about cards and making things and stuff but I didnt think it was a needed thing.

I also dont know who to ask to be my MOH. Since I'm in FL for the planning and can only come up a few times, I would like it to be someone on LI to be able to help my mom out and stuff. I have two girls that I am still friends with from HS. We are still good friends and stuff and always hang out when I come home but its not like we talk on the phone all the time and stuff. Im not sure who I want to ask and im so confused!!!

Anyone have any ideas?

I did make cards and gave them to the bridal party for both the guys and girls. I didnt tell any one before hand that they were going to be in it, so it was a semi surprise.
I would go with your heart on who you really want to be your MOH. and go slow, dont stress!
The top 2 are for the BM's and the bottom is for the GM's

I don't think its absolutely necessary to make something or have presents for people you want to ask to be in your bridal party. All of the bridal parties I have been in, the bride has always just asked while we were out to dinner or hanging out. I'd never thought of giving them anything until I came on here and saw that people were making cute cards and giving little presents. I think if you have the time and the money, maybe a card would be sweet, but don't make yourself crazy over it!

Yea I mean im crafty and stuff but I wouldnt know really what to do.I didnt know that ppl did that either until I came on here lol. I mean his sisters i have known for the 2 1/2 years we have been together. Its not like we have all been bff forever! Maybe ill find a cute paper or something and make a card but i dont know :) lol
