How to ask: 'Will you be my brides maid?'

How to ask: 'Will you be my brides maid?'

I havent asked my bridal party yet! I just booked the venue... I feel I should soon!'

How did you ask?

Is there some cute thing I can order to ask? I know I saw someplace , someone had ordered cookies that said 'will you be my brides maid?'. Anyone know where I can get something like that?

I ordered cards online that said 'Will you be my bridesmaid/maid of honor' - you can get them from a million different websites - depends on the design you want.

i also put together a 'survival kit' - i basically took the 'bridesmaids survival kit' and made my own version with things i thought they would need - tampons, mints, starbucks ready-brew, hair ties, bobby pins, tide pens...etc...you get the idea. then i put it in a cute reusable shopping bag (the nylon one), tied a big ribbon around it and got sparkle letters from a craft store and put the first letter of their name on the bag.

the girls LOVED them.

one of my best friends called me on the phone to ask me...which was also great. depends on what you're going for...

as soon as i got engaged... i called all the girls i wanted to be my bm's first... i have always known who would be in my bp so it was very easy for me

i made huge chocolate chip cookies and decorated them with 'Will you be my bridesmaid?' and shoes and a dress

they went over really well!!!!

I love being creative so i made them each a card. Look in my album. I bought card stock from michaels with the envelopes.

I bought a stamp that said the quote, ' Some people come into our lives and quickly go and some people leave footprints in our hearts!

I bought ribbon and hot glued it on and then wrote in gold pen. will you be my bm?

For my maid of honors i made a video slideshow they loved it!!!

I asked mine.
well my sil knew she was, and actually thought she was my moh. fh's sil knew she was... then i asked my moh to be my moh the day we got home from NC (thats where he proposed) I asked his other sil by blurting it out.. thats the only one i was nervous about... and my other one i asked while we were in the city looking for my wedding dress.
i've seen cookies and cards and stuff... and i had wanted to do that, but its just an added expense.

um honestly I said to my best friend, you know you're stuck being my MOH. I'll never get through this thing without you. lol it may have even been sorta more obnoxious than that. lol

How I asked


I made the cookies myself, super easy and cost effective, got the cookie cutter from michaels and the tins from dollar tree.

i bought the cards from an etsy seller

my BMs loved them!

I bought double picture frames and in one side put a photo of the two of us and on the other, i put a 4x6 card with a bridesmaids poem ending in 'will you be my bridesmaid?'

they all loved them.

i mailed them a card (pics in album of the front) with a poem thing and then will you be my bridesmaid with a quote from another card i read about peeing

I photoshopped a picture of their faces on horrible 80s style bridesmaids dresses next to a photo of me in a tacky wedding dress and then captioned it with If I promise not to make you wear this, will you be my bridesmaid?

Ha! Love the awesome 80s idea!

I made them all BM/MOH tank tops and put a card in the giftbag that said 'Will you do me the honor?' so whichever they opened first, they got the message. They like the tank tops (got them at Target and did an iron-on from Joanne's) a lot and it will be fun to all wear them for things!

i mademy own cards and bought the cookies from Sweet Things, a specialty cake shop in Oceanside
