So i hear a lot of girls saying that they are giving their MOH and BM's flowers or gifts to ask them to be in the BP.
Is this really necessary? Or is it more like something you want to do for them?

it's more of a way to do something nice for them instead of coming right out and asking.
I didn't do anything. I just took my girls aside whenever I saw them in person and asked them if they would like to be a BM/MOH in my wedding.

i just asked LOL - i figure the worse they do is say no- i guess it's a nice token, but i think thats what the BP gifts are for.

I think it is a nice thing to do BUT i would no do it... Well I did not do it... I didnt even had to ask... but I told them and they were more than thrilled to know they are my MOF (I have 2)... I cant afford to be making extra gifts for ppl now,.....

lol - they all knew who they were. except for 1 and my sister accidently asked if i asked her already in front of her - when i was going to ask her in ten min.
i wish i did it in a cute way - too late now!

Its definitely more something you want to do...because I didn't. I just asked them. I dont think its necessary.

I completely didn't know that other people did this. I just called my MOH and asked lol. I hope she didn't feel cheated!
I was having lunch with my three bridesmaids (two of them are sisters) and their mom actually spoiled it! We were talking about the wedding and she asks 'so are karina and megan going to be your bridesmaids?' and I was like 'umm...I haven't asked them yet but I hope so!!'
I don't think it's necesary but it is cute

I made cards for all of them. I thought it was a little nicer then just outright asking them. FH just asked his GM and BM.

I just called them up and asked them. They live all over the country so I couldn't get together with them or anything. I think its nice if you want to do it, but not absolutely necessary

its something i would love to do for them! They are going to be there for me through all the planning so i feel like it would be nice
