So FH and I finally narrowed it down to two photographers. J'adore Love, and Dreamlife. Both do great work, but Dreamlife offers more for less. But we really liked Jenn and Efrain from J'adore. We clicked so well with them, and they're in Brooklyn like us which makes it convenient for all parties. Dreamlife was great, but we felt that the photographer was lacking in personality (we were there late, maybe he was tired?). Not to mention with J'adore, we automatically get two photographers. But getting a second photographer in Dreamlife wouldn't be much more anyway, plus they make their own custom albums which look AMAZING.
*sigh* I didn't think choosing a photograher would be this difficulty. What do you guys think?

I think personality is really important. The photographer(s) is/are with you ALL day, and they need to have personality to get people to smile and make them feel comofrtable and at ease. many people aren't used to having their photo taken, so you really need someoen who you and your family can 'click' with IMO

Wow dreamlife site is pretty good//// im in a tight budget with photo also so i booked an appt with J'adore and was going to check out lovemore photo also since their prices were in my range. but Dreamlife price is sooooo CHEAPPPP wow!!!!!!

That's very true. FH and I aren't the best picture posers either. We'll need someone to make us feel comfortable to relax and be ourselves.
