how to display wristbands as part of donation favor?
As part of our favor, we are making donations to cancer-related charities to benefit prostate cancer and breast cancer research. To memoralize the donation, we are giving out light blue and pink wristbands (the colors for those cancers) to our guests. We are also doing wine bottle favors.
How and when should we display the wrist bands for guests to take them?
I thought about having them displayed in the entrance, so guests can take them on the way in (near the champagne welcome) on a silver platter with a nice sign. I also thought of displaying them the same way, but at the end of the night, next to the wine favors.
Another option is to have them placed at each place setting, with either a sign on the table or a tag attached to each one, explaining that we made a donation. We could also put a sign on each table with a few wristbands at the base of the sign and people can choose which one they want.
Those were my thoughts. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Any ideas on which way would be best to give them out?

I've seen them done in those little tiny organza pouches, with a small tag inside to explain ....

That's a great idea, actually. We were thinking of putting our wine bottles in navy organza bags. Perhaps we could put the wristbands in pink organza bags attached to the wine bottles.
The only problem is that we're giving pink AND blue color choices, but I guess we could put one of each with each bottle of wine.
That's a good idea!

First of all that is a great favor for a great cause, good for you , maybe you can hang them on a big tree and have a sign somewhere saying please take one, etc, or I like them served on a silver platter like you said or put them in organza bags and have one placed on your guests plate

I am going livestrong bracelets and am putting them in brown satin bags (similar to the organza bags) and am going to either have a tag on the bag or put a sign on the table.

you could put them along with your placecards. and write an explanation on the back of the card.

we did the yellow ' livestrong' bracelets as part of our favor... and we wrapped them in organza/tulle with a little tin of mints. we tied a tag to them that said ' to honor our loved ones affected by cancer, a donation has been made to the lance armstrong cancer fund' . we put one bag at each place everyone LOVED them! we still have a few of our guests that wear them even almost 2 years later! they all thought it was a very nice gesture to do as a favor.
