How to get DH to stop telling people

How to get DH to stop telling people

our ideas for names!!! At this rate we'll NEVER decide on a name. Everytime I come up with something, I'll say, what do you think of this name?

RARELY, he'll say he likes it. And I think, good, a 'maybe' that we can put on the list. (Our list of maybes currently ZERO names on it) Then he goes and tells the name to EVERYONE he comes across and asks them for their stupid opinions!!! Doesn't he realize that if he says the name to ten people of course probably HALF are going to have something negative to say?!?! I don't care what OTHER people think of the name, I want US to like it and that's it.

Then he comes back and says 'Oh, so and so said that name is 'gay' so forget it.'

It's so frustrating!!

I totally understand When my FH and I were thinking of names we couldn't come up with a name for a boy we agreed on a girls name right away but if it was a boy we were screwed cuz we couldn't agree and then he was going around asking people and if one person said something bad about the name he didn't want it thank goodness we had a girl.

One of our friends had the same problem. I am kind of glad we picked out names a long time ago and we actually are sticking to them. Best of luck and i am sure you will agree and find a name that fits your little one. Best of luck.

Just tell him, if he doesn't quit it 'Avacado' is going on the birth certificate!
