how to get wedding inspired again. . .

how to get wedding inspired again. . .

It's a REALLY stressful time of year for me. Spring Concert season starts a week from today, and my HUGE final rehearsals prior to concerts start at the end of the week. I need something to distract me from work. . .but I'm having a hard time getting wedding planning inspired again. I still have to schedule a hair trial (or actually call the girl--why doesn't she have damned e-mail?!?!?!?), pick out first dance song (although FH kinda wants the Beyonce version of 'At Last'--what can I say, he's inspired by Obama), decide which two charities to donate for instead of giving out favors. . .

. . .with so much to do two months before the wedding, why am I so underwhelmed? I need a swift kick in the *** again--how do I do that?!?!?! any other girls out there get into a rut like this when they were two months out?

Oh, yeah, and we still have to plot out the CEREMONY. ****, we DO have a lot to do! But I don't have the energy to do it. . .

I am right there with you, my friend! I'm even lagging on getting the invites out - my deadline is this weekend for those! I think cause I did so much planning WAAAAY in advance, I'm all overconfident now that I have things taken care of. Don't worry! You have other priorities right now, and as the wedding approaches, they will shift! Just get through your concerts - they're gonna be amazing!

Omg Im on the same boat as you... I am just exhausted from it all. Booking major vendors was the easy part. Pulling together all the small details are sooooooooo annoying that Im too tired and have no energy to do it. I have ribbon wands collecting dust in my closet bc Im too lazy to go to Michaels to get a glue gun and put them together. Ughhhhh I cant wait until all this planning is over!

I think I just have to find a weekend where I'm NOT doing anything (haha when I'm working the next three weekends) and finish the programs and my menus so I can print them out. I think that will be the swift kick in the rear that I need!!!

There's way too much going on over these next three weeks (concert on the 5th and 6th, Arts Festival the 14th, other school's concert on the 15th and 20th) and I can't concentrate on anything else! That's baaaaaaaaaaad.

I keep thinking there is something wrong with me that I just dont wnat to do anything anymore...I just want it to be here so I can go and finally enjoy everything

It is all the small crap that makes it all so stressful...You think your done, then remember 5 more things you have to do

I LOVE father of the bride...what other movies??? HMMMM.......

It happened to me too, I had a 'lull' without any interest in doing anything for the wedding. All I can say is, it passes, and you start to get excited again, and it all comes naturally.
