How to handle a BM situation....

How to handle a BM situation....

A few months before the wedding, I asked our Best Man's wife to be my bridesmaid. We weren't close friends, but I thought that it would be a nice gesture to have her be a part of our day.

Fast forward to the wedding on Sunday. She btched and moaned about EVERYTHING. And loudly...enough that a few people told me there was a unhappy BM stomping around...which I felt was extremely embarrassing. She would get upset about STUPID stuff like....not walking down the aisle with her husband (hes Best Man and walked with my MOH)...she made me change the reception entrance order 3 seconds before they were announced just so she could go with her husband...she didnt like that all of my BM dresses matched... during my MOH's speech, she was telling her table that my MOH needs to shut up and sit down.

I didnt speak up while this was all happening, but now that I am reflecting on the day, I am very upset at how vocal she was in front of my friends and family. DH told me to let it go...because if I become confrontational, she will probably interfere in DH and his Best Man's friendship (since she wears the pants) . Do I keep quiet or tell her she embarassed me and affected my day??

Mmm...
I think I would think of my DH right now... Like I wouldnt want to interfere with his friendship...
i would Smack the sht out of this btch too but if they are very close its a different thing...

I think u should just LET IT GO now...

I had a couple of FUKED UP things at my wedding and have decided to shut up and not argue with X & X person bc its pointless now... the fked up part/drama is DONE...

NOW just learn the lesson, and u know she aint a good person...

Just breath chica....

I would just distant myself from her and make note. I don't think it's wise to bring it up after the fact considering it could taint your DH and BM's friendship.

what happened at the wedding wasn't your fault and no one will hold it against you...
with that said...i would just let it go and let DH maintain his friendship with his BM. I wouldn't be making plans to hang out with them any time soon though

people are so unbelievably rude!

i have a hard time keeping my mouth shut, but maybe it's best to do that since you don't want to affect the friendship between your husband and the best man.

im going against the grain here and say that you should NICELY say something. people like that need to be called out on their behavior bc if no one tells them they are wrong they are just going to continue to act like this.

It should not be made into anything about your DH and his friend, its about her ridiculous behavior. Im so sick of people acting like a-holes and getting away w it bc everyone is afraid to say something.

I would just say, next time you see her, so i wanted to talk to you about the wedding, thank you so much for being a part of our special day, but it seemed like you were unhappy with a lot of the day.... and go from there

I would just let it slide, honestly. If DH asked you to do that so as to not ruin his friendship with his psychotic wife, then you should oblige. But if she pulls something else, I'd let her have it.
