Hi! My mom offered to make our card box. My fiance and I found super cute wrapping paper for it. Where do I go from here?! LOL.. get a box somewhere and cover it then put a slit for envelopes?!!

its pretty easy to make...pics are in my album
I got paper mache boxes (from ac moore - $10.99 for a set of 3) I cut the slit for the cards and hole in the bottom one (since i stacked 3 of them). Then i used spray adhesive to attach the fabric to the box ribbobs, rhinestones etc were added after
im not sure how it would work with wrapping paper...my guess is you dont need to use the spray adhesive and you can just wrap it like a gift using tape

Your card box is beautiful! I'm going to make my own as well. I've gone to AC Moore and Michael's and there seems to be plenty of gorgeous rhinestones, ribbons and fabric to choose from. I was going to just use one big box since it would be easier to put together, but your stacked box of three looks great!

my mom made this one for my sisters best friends wedding.
we're going to make mine exactly like this but more blingy, lol.
she just took 3 stackable boxes from homegoods, covered them in matting to make the boxes look a little poofy and then covered them in fabric. The key is to use elmers spray glue, it works sooooo good.

it did not take long at all...putting the fabric on the boxes took maybe 20 minutes. the hardest part for me was deciding how to decorate it. i was placing (with scotch tape so that i could take it off) ribbons etc all over it til i came up with a combo i liked.
