how to prepare the veil?

okay so my veil has not been taken care of to the best of my ability (it's all wrinkly and stuff!)

what do i do with it? does it get steamed? do i just hang it out? how far ahead do i do this?

and here ends my first moment of panick for the day. thank you very much!

Good question.... mine is still in the plastic it was shipped in.

I got mine steamed. It came out great BUT it was glued on to the comb and the heat made parts of it unattach. We didn't realize this until Tarale went to put it on my head the day of the wedding. But she sewed it on and it was perfect. So, I'd be careful if your veil is hotglued - the steam will likely make it looser. Just check it afterwards.

run a hot bath - hang veil in bathroom so it can absorb the steam. close door. wait abt 10-15minutes & its will be light & airy - ready to wear

I got mine shipped from bridesave and it was folded into the tiniest square-i hung it up on a hanger and within a few days it was perfect-no steam at all-but I would hang it now and stick in the bathroom when you take a shower for the next couple of days-it should be perfect!!!!!!!
