How to resize picture

How to resize picture

I have pictures from my digital photographer which I am trying to resize in Microsoft Photo Editor. I'm going to Image>Resize.

How come it's coming out so smudgy looking?

My question is am I doing it right?

I don't know how to use Photo editor. I'm sorry. If you are resizingto post here you could use the LIWeddings resizer - there is a button for this above.

I used the resizer button and the picture is still smudgy.

I don't get it.

I guess my pictures are way too big.

You can also download this free program: Pic2Mail

I use it all the time. It will shrink down your photos to e-mailable size (or a size small enough to post here on LIW).
