How to sign thank yous???

I started getting some shower gifts from people who cannot make it.

1 - Do I send the thank you now...or wait till after the shower (they sent it to me and FH's house)

2 - Do I sign both of our names or just mine???

hmm good question- i am almost positive that if the guest attended the shower & you sent a thank you it would just be from you- so if it were me, i would do that even if they didnt attend

I signed mine the same way the person giving the gift addressed it... if they wrote 'to Denise' then I just signed it from me. If they wrote to both of us, then I signed from both of us. Good philosophy, I think!

I sent thank yous as soon as I get the gift, and sign from both FH and I. Since the gift is really for both of us, not just me

You should send thank you now if you received a gift. Unless you are ordering special thank you notes. Definitely sign both yours and FH's names. The gift was meant for both of you Hope that helps.

I would put both names since the gifts are for both you and your FH

I've received gifts from guest that can't attend the shower and have already written notes to say Thank You, but have not sent them out.

Since the shower isn't a jack and jill, and the shower is in my honor from my bridesmaids, I will sign the card as thank you from just myself.

i signed both our names, and I would send it as soon as you recieve it, its easier that way
