Well, Dan and I got severe sunburns on Saturday, him much much worse since he had no shirt on, his back and chest are peeling and itchy BIG TIME>.....
We tried the lotion, that does nothing....
any other ideas or tips on how you stop it?? he is shedding like a SNAKE....YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aloe.
maybe get one of those cooling gels with aloe in it. they usually work well

try aloe vera, take some vitamine E to restore moisture in the skin-the store also have special stuff to put on burns

DH and I are starting to peel! We've been using both Vitamin E gel and aloe. The vitamin E has really helped DH.

I use this stuff by Banana Boat, and it WORKS! Far better than aloe, but I start as soon as I get a sunburn. I guess it will work when you start peeling. It moisturizes the skin really well, and I never peel anymore, and I always used to peel.

i was in the same boat last week. i used spray calamine lotion from band-aid brand to stop the constant itching. didn't help the peeling though.
