hello everybody my friends will marry next year, but she find a very beautiful wedding dress now and cannot wait to buy it for fearing it wouldn't be there latter. So now it is a big problem for storing this beautiful dress, she don't want it to be yellow or anything, then any suggestion tips ? thank you !

It should not turn yellow in 1 year. Some dresses sit in the bridal salon for longer. I think it's when the dress sits for SEVERAL years that it turns yellow. Call the manufacturer and ask.

I bought my dress last august for my December wedding. I was told to get a king size white flat sheet and I had the bridal store wrap my dress in it before they put it in the garment bag.And then I just hung it in the closet. I just took it out last week b/c I have my alterations appointment in a few weeks and it looks perfect.

i ended up purchasing an acid free storage box and acid free tissue paper. my mom folded it up and we're storing it away. i thought having it hung up for a year might stretch out the straps.

My friend was told to do this too.
also, some bridal salons will store the dress for you at a charge... she should ask the place he bough it from.
