How to sutff an envelope?

I know there is a specific way I am supposed to stuff my invitations. Does anyone know what it is?

Largest (the invitation) at the back, with everything else in front of it in size order.

The print should face the front of the inner envelope, so when guests open the flap and pull it out, the writing faces them.

Close, but do not seal, the flap to the inner envelope. Place the inner envelope into the outer envelope with the flaps facing different directions. (In other words, when guests open the outer envelope, they should pull out the inner envelope so that the side with their names on it - NOT the flap - is facing them)

Hope that makes sense!

Ok good to know! THANKS!

Now, what do I do with the sheer tissue paper? And where do the response cards go? Behind the invitation I assume?

Throw out the tissue paper. (Seriously, you're not supposed to include it. I know some people do, but you don't need it. Toss it!)

The response card gets tucked under the flap of the response card envelope, but not put inside the response card envelope. (Does that make sense?) It goes in the envelope in its size-order place with everything else -- largest to the back, smallest in the front.

Nothing goes behind the invitation. The invitation should be the largest thing in the envelope, so it is at the bottom. Everything else goes in size order in front of it.

My invitations came with instructions - it should be in the box they came in.
