How to try out rental tuxedo?

Hi All,
I heard from a lot of people they dislikes about rental tux. I know rental is rental.. but does anyone know if it is possible to try out some of those tuxes for FH and see how they look on FH prior getting them?
FH has 48L .. and tux that we tried in men warehouse
really needed some alternations on sides.. was good in shoulders but too wide.

but I used to work in a tux place and the guys always tried on the tux before decided which one to rent.

If it doesnt fit properly like in your situation where its good in the shoulders bad in the sides then they should be able to take the jacket in on the sides so that it fits properly, or as close to properly without being custom as possible. They should be able to pin it on the spot so you could see how it would fit and then when you pick it up (a day or two before the wedding) it should be tried on again to make sure it fits well..
